We have put together a list of frequently asked questions about Shop-related features and functions. If you are a registered customer and can't find the answer to your specific question, please contact your local sales representative.

Login and registration to the Shop

As a registered customer, you have various options to log in to the Shop:

  • from the dropdown opening when you hover over "Shop" in the header.
  • from "MyMitsubishi" which you find in the hanging tab below the header.
  • from the Shop overview page.

If you'd like to register for the Shop, please see How to register to the shop.

Go to "Login" and here click "Forgot password?" to trigger a password recovery email. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password. Make sure you have entered the correct email address to receive the reset link.

You have various options to register to the Shop:

  • from the dropdown opening when you hover over "Shop" in the header.
  • from "MyMitsubishi" which you find in the hanging tab below the header.
  • from the Shop overview page.
  • from your MyMitsubishi profile if you had registered to MyMitsubishi in the past.

Click on "Register" and in the form select the option "I want to be able to buy products". Fill in all the required information and accept the Shop Terms & Conditions and Trade regulations.

After submitting your request, you will receive an e-mail with a link to complete your registration. Completing this step will grant you immediate access to MyMitsubishi. Please don't forget to "Complete your registration" otherwise you cannot login to the Shop later.

Note: For the Shop registration, you will receive a separate confirmation by e-mail once your data has been reviewed and approved. 

There is no limit to the number of users from the same company. Each user can have only one account linked to his/her individual email address. Users from the same company may have different access rights, depending on their roles or responsibilities.

Request a quotation

There are two ways to request a quotation for a product.

  1. Single product - You can request a quotation for a single product from any product list and product detail page by clicking "Request a quotation". Please provide all required data before you submit your quotation request. 

  2. Multiple Products - If you wish to request a quotation for more than one product, we recommend adding the products to a watchlist using the "Add to watchlist" button. From the watchlist, you can select up to 10 different items to submit a single quotation request.

In both cases, our team will contact you as soon as possible.

Coming from the Advanced search, you can refine your search results by using the "Product filter" option. Filter by 

  • New
  • Bestseller
  • Silverline 
  • Sale

to quickly find products that match your interests or needs.

Watchlist

Using the watchlist feature offers various benefits:

  • You can collect up to 10 materials to request a quotation.
  • You can compare similar materials and select the best one for your purpose.
  • You can adjust the requested quantity.

As a registered customer, you can collect more than 10 materials and benefit from other additional functions which are described in the FAQs below. 

There are two ways to fill your watchlist.

  1. Use the "Add to watchlist" button from any product list and product detail page.
  2. You can also open the watchlist from the Shop header dropdown. This is recommendable if you know the correct material description or article numbers. The system will suggest products based on your input. You can also insert content from an existing data table. Copy and paste the desired entries into the input field. The loading time may take a while due to the large number of our materials. Product names are case-sensitive.

Please note: If you add products that are already in your watchlist manually by product name or article number, it will be added to the quantity of the product already in your watchlist.

As a registered customer,

  1. You can save your watchlist for future use before adding it (or selected materials) to your shopping cart.
  2. You can also save a shopping cart as a watchlist. *)

Saved watchlists will appear below the active one on the same page.

Choose a saved watchlist to select one or more items and add them to your shopping cart where you can modify your entries before the checkout.

You will be able to see and use all saved watchlists of your company account. See What is a "shared watchlist"?.

*) The former "Saved Carts" functionality has been replaced by the new "Saved watchlists" feature.

In your saved watchlists you may also find watchlists which you did not create. You can see all saved watchlists of your company account, you "share" the watchlists with your colleagues. For all watchlists, you can see who created them. 

You can use all shared watchlists in the same way as a your own saved watchlist, i.e. select one or more items and add them to your shopping cart. 

Note: You cannot save or delete another person's watchlist. However, from your shopping cart, you can save it as your own watchlist with a new name. It will then appear in the shared watchlists with your name as the creator.

In a watchlist you can compare selected products of the same material class to ensure you find the product(s) that fit best.

  1. Select minimum 2, maximum 5 materials of the same material class. (If you don't, the Compare button will remain inactive.)
  2. Click "Compare" to open a new page with the selected materials.
  3. Activate "Highlight differences" for easier comparison.
  4. If you compare more than two materials, you can filter here again for better comparison.
  5. You can also download the comparison for future use.

For registered customers, the comparison tables include prices and the option to put selected materials directly into your shopping cart.

Availability and net prices [registered customers]

Select the item(s) in your watchlist you want to check the availability of. Then click "Request data" to do so. The availability will be displayed in the tab "Availability check" on the same page. Please note that it may take some time until the full list is displayed.

From here you can download the requested data for future use.

You can also add materials manually by typing the article number or material name into the field "Material number or name". Furthermore, you can copy and paste data from your own datasheet or even upload materials from your own CSV.

Select the item(s) in your watchlist you want to check the net prices of.  Then click "Request data" to do so. The net prices will be displayed in the tab "Customer net price" on the same page. Please note that it may take some time until the prices are displayed. 

From here you can download the requested data for future use.

You can also add materials manually by typing the artical number or material name into the field "Material number or name". Furthermor, you can copy and paste data from your own datasheet or even upload materials from your own CSV

If you want to check the availability or net prices of many products in one go, you can upload all materials using your own datasheet. Click "Upload from CSV" and follow the instructions.

Make sure to provide a table with the following columns: Material number, Quantity, Requested delivery date. The first table row must contain these headings.

Note: You may find the uploaded materials sorted differently. This can be caused by the interface connecting the data from the shop backend. 

You can request a customer related net price report of selected product groups. Use the filters offered on the Price list page. You will receive the report as a pdf file to your email address.

Please try to limit your selection of categories to speed up the creation of the list and avoid errors due to timeouts. 

  1. Check your inbox again after a few minutes. The creation of the report can take up to 30 minutes.
  2. You received an email that the report generation failed? The report creation may have failed due to timeout. Try again, but select less product groups.
  3. If it still fails, please contact your responsible local sales desk.

Shopping cart [registered customers]

There are two ways to fill your shopping cart.

  1. Use the "Add to cart" button from any product list and product detail page.
  2. You can also open the shopping cart from the Shop header dropdown. This is recommendable only if you know the correct product names or article numbers. The system will suggest products based on your input. You can also insert content from an existing data table. Copy and paste the desired entries into the input field. Please note that loading may take some time if you add large number of materials.

    The former "Save cart" functionality has been replaced by the new "Saved watchlist" feature. See How to save my watchlist

    Ordering [registered customers]

    You can place your order from the shopping cart. *)

    1. Fill in all mandatory fields above the shopping cart.
    2. Check your items and quantities, then click on "Checkout".
    3. Provide your Delivery address - See here how to change it.
    4. Confirm the shipping method. (Please note the exception for the delivery of batteries.)
    5. In the final review check carefully the correct quantity and delivery address because the order cannot be changed once it had been submitted.

    Please note: "Save as watchlist", if you want to keep the items from the shopping cart for future use.

    *) You can also order from a quotation if assigned to your account.

          If your order contains at least one software product, this will be indicated in step 2 (Shipping method) of the checkout process.You will receive your software licence electronically. For this please provide the email address of the software recipient.

          It is not possible to change or cancel the order once it has been submitted.

          Please note that placing orders from a quotation, i.e. adding materials from a quotation to your shopping cart, is currently not possible. If you want to order from a quotation, please logout from the Shop here and login to the old e-shop where you can proceed as usual. 

          We are working on it and will provide all functionalities soon. We apologise for the inconveniences.

          Delivery [registered customers]

          In the checkout process, click on the "Address book" button if you do not want your order to be sent to your company's standard delivery address. From here you can select any delivery address created in the past. You can also create a new delivery address.

          For all other countries and/or orders with a weight of >30 kg and express delivery before 12 pm, please contact your responsible Sales Desk.

          Please note: Batteries are classified as dangerous goods and therefore cannot be shipped by express delivery.
          Express delivery containing a battery will be separated, and the battery will be sent in a separate shipment.

          After consultation with your responsible sales desk, you can pick up your delivery directly from the warehouse in Duisburg. Mitsubishi Electric’s main warehouse is located in Duisburg, Germany.

          Goods can be picked up from the following address between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.:

          Order tracking [registered customers]

          You can find your open orders in the "Order tracking". There, you will see a list of all your orders. You can search for open order items, delivery notes, orders or invoices.

          In the order tracking you can find each order status in the table. The status can be:

          Open: Your order has been placed, no subsequent document will be created.

          In process: Your order is being processed, at least one delivery note has been created.

          Completed: All items in your order have been dispatched and invoiced.

          Cancelled: Your complete order has been canceled, all items have been rejected.

          You can sort the table by Order number, Customer PO number and placed date or download it for future use.

          You can search the order tracking for invoices. Search for any status or filter directly for a specific one like:

          Due: The invoice has reached its payment due date - today is the deadline for payment.

          Overdue: The invoice is past its due date and has not been paid. Immediate action may be required. 

          Not due: The invoice has been issued, but the payment deadline has not yet been reached.

          Paid: The invoice has already been paid in full.

          You can sort the table by Invoice NumberInvoice Date and Status or download it for future use.

          You can track your order by clicking on the UPS/DHL/TNT/Reteco parcel reference link. Once clicked, you will be redirected to the courier’s website.

          Please note: under European law, the courier's website is required to state the legal grounds on which they process your information.
